Produced by Russell Broom — who has worked with Canadian legends including Jann Arden — the track features drummer Flavio Cirillo, known for his work with Dallas Smith, and showcases CAS JADE's powerful vocals and cinematic sound.

CAS JADE is a is an independent Canadian artist, originally from Calgary, who creates cinematic, emotionally charged music rooted in mythology, nature, and transformation. Blending alt-pop with mythical and surreal aesthetics, her work transcends traditional genre boundaries, crafting immersive sonic and visual worlds.
As both a musician and theatrical performer, CAS JADE integrates movement, storytelling, and surreal visuals into her live shows, creating experiences that feel less like concerts and more like immersive journeys into otherworldly realms. Her debut single, "Freak of Nature," was produced by Russell Broom (guitar also by Broom, who has worked with notable artists including Jann Arden) and features Flavio Cirillo (drummer for Dallas Smith). The track embodies her artistic ethos: embracing authenticity, wildness, and unapologetic self-expression.
